Why Is YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s Bangladesh Travel Raising Eyebrows?

The investigation into YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s suspected spying for Pakistan is getting more serious. Now, her possible links to Bangladesh have added to the concerns of security agencies. She is already accused of sharing secret and important information with Pakistan and is said to be connected to several Pakistani spies, including ISI agents.

Haryana Police, leading the investigation, is checking if Malhotra used her social media to share messages that support Pakistan and influence people in India. During the investigation, they also found important evidence about her planned trip to Bangladesh.

An undated visa application form has come to light, showing her name and a temporary address in Uttara, Dhaka. Investigators think she may have planned this visit as a secret way to meet contacts in Bangladesh, pretending it was for shooting a video.

The video blogger accused of spying was questioned on Tuesday by officials from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) about her suspected connections with Pakistani intelligence agents.

Officials are closely looking into her recent trips abroad—including visits to Pakistan, China, and other countries—to find out if they were linked to a larger spying network. These travels have raised serious concerns about possible hidden motives.

Despite the serious charges against her, Malhotra has shown no regret during questioning. She claims she’s being unfairly targeted just for sharing her views, saying, “I’m being punished for speaking freely.”

She is accused of leaking important military secrets to Pakistani agents, which is very serious, especially after the recent deadly attacks in Pahalgam. Her planned trip to Bangladesh, amid recent political shifts, has raised even more alarm for national security.
